The Viking Hygienic positive displacement pump is designed to meet international standards for processing food, drinks, chemicals, medicines and personal care products where the pump will be cleaned frequently, using either Clean In Place (CIP) or Clean Out of Place (COP) / Clean Method Strip. These pumps are available according to the main hygienic standards including 3-A and EHEDG Type EL, Class 1. Wetted materials meet FDA standards to limit leaching of substances.

Standard single mechanical seal. For the choice of dual mechanical seals with flush / quench or single or double O-ring seals.

Standard pumps without jackets. Jacket options for melted chocolate or other room-temperature solids before starting. Hygienic clamping ports that meet ISO 2852. Other hygienic ports and flanges are compatible with the optional ANSI port. Standard and optional port sizes. Standard crossing port, 90 ° optional port. Ports with casing grooves (shown as V) need to be used as suction ports for the main rotation of the pump clockwise from the end of the shaft. The purpose of this suckback groove in the casing causes liquid to flow from a higher place, the pressure release side behind the rotor under the suction side pressure to cool and lubricate the shaft seal, and ensure total rinsing during the CIP. Because of the groove casing, the orientation is counterclockwise, rotation will require a special casing.

The rotational advantage of this pump is very stable compared to other pumps and has an effective suction of incoming fluid. This type is designed to be very efficient because it naturally expels air from the flow pipe, and reduces the need for users to remove the air manually.

The flow speed of the Viking Hygienic Series Pump is around 62 m3 / hour. Making this pump with a cast iron process, there are lip seals, and mechanical seals so as to minimize the level of leakage. The special metal is to support resistance at pressures up to 10 bar and withstand temperatures of -20oC to 107oC.
