The piston actuator pump offers a simple and reliable manual valve positioning. This actuator consists of a worm-shaped gear arrangement which is placed on strong cast iron. Rugged design provides long service life and requires no maintenance. A high gear ratio service allows minimum input effort for high torque conditions.
Actuators are strong, compact and durable units for use in quarter turn applications. It is available in Double acting and spring return versions. Various models are available to meet various torque requirements. All actuators have mounting flanges and drives to ISO 5211.
The thrust bearings available at this pump require axial thrust in operation. Rugged design provides long service life and free care. High gear ratio allows minimum input effort for high torque conditions. To close the valve, the Rotate Gear operator’s hands are clockwise. To open the Valve, the Rotate Gear handwheel operator is counterclockwise.
